Terms of Service

1. About these terms

DriveFlow is run by DriveflowLTD, a company registered in England and Wales. In these terms, "DriveFlow", "we", "us" and "our" mean DriveflowLTD. You can contact us at any time using Contact DriveFlow in your account settings.

These terms apply whenever you use DriveFlow, whether on the website or as an app added to your home screen. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you use DriveFlow for a business, you confirm you're allowed to agree to these terms for that business.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we look after your information.

2. Built for trust

A tuning business runs on its files and its customers. DriveFlow exists to help dealers grow, so we built it to protect both. These protections aren't just promises. They're how the platform works.

Your customers are linked to youA customer who signs up with your code or link sends their files to you. No other customer or dealer can open their jobs: only them, you, and a partner you choose to bring in.
Each person only sees their neighboursYour customer only ever deals with you. A partner you hand a job to only sees you, and you decide whether they see your customer's name and email. If they pass it on again, the next tuner only sees them. However long the chain, nobody sees further than one step either side.
Your prices stay yoursPartners never see what your customer paid you, and customers never see what you pay a partner.
You're paid directlyCard payments go straight into your own payout account with Stripe. DriveFlow's fee is taken automatically at the time of payment. We never sit on your card takings.
Files are locked downEvery file is encrypted while it travels and while it's stored. No other customer or dealer can download it, only the people on that job. Tuned files can stay locked until your customer has paid.
Who you work with is confidentialYour partners, customers and handoffs aren't shown to anyone outside the job. Nothing in DriveFlow's public website code names our members.

Our promises to dealers

3. Who does what on DriveFlow

Files are tuned by dealers, not by DriveFlow. When a dealer tunes your file, your contract for that tuning is with the dealer. If you aren't linked to a dealer, your files may be handled by DriveFlow directly, and for those files we are your tuner.

4. Your account

5. Sending files and getting them tuned

6. Your vehicle: your responsibility

Tuning changes how your vehicle performs. It can affect your warranty, your insurance, emissions, your MOT and whether the vehicle is roadworthy. You are responsible for:

Some changes make a vehicle illegal to use on UK public roads and will fail an MOT. Examples are removing or disabling a diesel particulate filter (DPF), EGR system, catalytic converter or AdBlue/SCR system, or turning off emissions monitoring. Files like these are only for off-road or competition use, and you must not use them on the road.

Your dealer is responsible for the quality of the files they send you. DriveFlow doesn't check or test tuned files.

9. Cancelling and refunds

Your right to cancel

If you're a consumer, you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase made online. When you pay for a file to be tuned, you're asking for the work to start straight away. Once your tuned file has been delivered to you, you can no longer cancel that purchase. Until then, you can ask your dealer to cancel. If they've already started the work, they may charge for the work done.

Faulty files

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a tuned file you pay for must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If there's a problem, tell your dealer using the job thread (the "Needs Changes" button). They can fix it with a revised file, or refund you. Your right to cancel ending doesn't affect these rights.

Your customers' information

You may only use your customers' information to provide your services to them. Keep it secure and handle it in line with UK data protection law.

11. Using DriveFlow fairly

You must not:

12. Your files and content

You keep ownership of the files, photos and messages you upload. You give us permission to store and send them, but only as needed to deliver your jobs to the people on them. You confirm you have the right to upload them. We can remove content that breaks these terms.

13. Pausing, suspending and closing accounts

14. Keeping DriveFlow running

We work hard to keep DriveFlow available and secure. We can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we sometimes need to change or stop features. If a change materially affects a service you've paid for, we'll let you know. Keep your own copies of important files.

15. Our responsibility to you

If you're a consumer

If you use DriveFlow for a business

For everyone

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in DriveFlow and ask you to agree to the new terms before you carry on. If you don't agree, you can close your account.

17. Complaints and contact

If you have a problem with a file, contact your dealer first through the job thread. For anything else, or if you can't sort it out with your dealer, use Contact DriveFlow in your account settings and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. If you can't sign in, ask your dealer to pass your message to us.

If you're a consumer, you can also get free advice from Citizens Advice.

18. Which laws apply

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
